- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the glaze.
- Coat the chicken drumsticks in the glaze and place them in the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry; add it to the slow cooker and stir.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
Serving
- Serve the glazed drumsticks over steamed rice and optionally add cooked vegetables on the side.
- Garnish with sesame seeds or sliced green onions for color and crunch.
Notes
Pat the drumsticks dry before coating for better glaze adherence. For a thicker sauce, remove chicken near the end and cook the sauce on high with the lid off to reduce. For a caramelized finish, broil cooked drumsticks for 2-3 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
