  • 8 pieces Chicken drumsticks
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Dried herbs (thyme and rosemary) Can substitute with other herbs
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Chicken broth or water Use water if broth is not available

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season the chicken drumsticks with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and dried herbs.
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil and chicken broth (or water).
  3. Place the drumsticks in the Crock-Pot and pour the olive oil mixture over them.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  2. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the spice mixture and olive oil for a few hours or overnight before cooking. You can add vegetables like carrots or potatoes to the Crock-Pot for a complete meal. Always ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F for safe eating. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days or frozen for two months.
