Ingredients
  

For the Salmon Balls
  • 1 lb salmon fillet, cooked and flaked Use cooked salmon that is not too wet. Pat it dry before flaking.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs If the mix is too soft, add a little more breadcrumbs.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Can be substituted with feta for a different flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For the Avocado Sauce
  • 1 ripe avocado Blend with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt Can be replaced with sour cream for a tangier dip.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Add more to taste.
  • Salt to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into bite-sized balls and place them on a greased baking sheet.
Baking
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Making the Avocado Sauce
  1. For the avocado sauce, blend the avocado, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and salt until smooth.
Serving
  1. Serve the salmon balls warm with the avocado sauce for dipping.

Notes

Make even-sized balls for even cooking. Bake on a greased sheet or use parchment paper for easy cleanup.
