Preparation
- Mix the hot honey, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Put the chicken breasts in the bowl or a zip bag and coat them well with the mix. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates.
- Grill the chicken for 6–7 minutes per side, until the internal temperature reads 165°F.
- Remove the chicken and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Pound the chicken breasts to even thickness for uniform cooking. Drizzle any leftover glaze over the chicken for extra flavor. For best results, use a meat thermometer.
