  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup hot honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt to taste salt
  • Pepper to taste pepper
  • Lemon wedges for serving lemon wedges

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Mix the hot honey, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Put the chicken breasts in the bowl or a zip bag and coat them well with the mix. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates.
  2. Grill the chicken for 6–7 minutes per side, until the internal temperature reads 165°F.
  3. Remove the chicken and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Pound the chicken breasts to even thickness for uniform cooking. Drizzle any leftover glaze over the chicken for extra flavor. For best results, use a meat thermometer.
