Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil to make the teriyaki marinade.
- Place chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
Serving
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For better flavor, marinate the chicken thighs overnight if you have time. You can use skin-on chicken thighs for extra juiciness. If desired, add red pepper flakes for heat.
