Ingredients

Vegetable Ingredients
  • 2 medium medium zucchini, sliced
  • 1 large large onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Method

Preparation and Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced onions and sauté until they become caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the sliced zucchini and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking for another 3-5 minutes, until the zucchini is tender.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce and cook for an additional minute, making sure all vegetables are well-coated.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Slice zucchini evenly for even cooking. Avoid overcooking to maintain firmness. Pairs well with rice, noodles, or grilled fish.
