Irresistibly Crispy Parmesan Salmon Bake

Main ingredients
  • 4 fillets salmon fillets Pat dry before adding the crust
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated Use fresh grated for best flavor
  • 1 cup bread crumbs Substitute Panko for extra crunch
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped Optional garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Press the Parmesan mixture onto the top of each salmon fillet to create a crust.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

Cool the salmon to room temperature for no more than 2 hours. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in a 325°F (160°C) oven for about 8-10 minutes.
