  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional) For garnish.
  • to taste chopped green onions (optional) For garnish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the drumsticks dry with paper towels.
  3. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir until smooth.
  4. Put drumsticks in a baking dish or on a rimmed sheet. Pour half the sauce over the chicken. Turn the drumsticks to coat them well.

  3. Bake for another 10–15 minutes until juice runs clear and skin is golden.

Notes

Cool the chicken to room temperature, then put in an airtight container. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10–15 minutes until hot, or warm in a skillet until heated through. For longer storage, freeze up to 2 months in a freezer-safe container. Pat chicken dry for better color and use low-sodium soy for less salt.
