  • 2 pieces bell peppers, colorful, sliced Choose a mix of colors for a vibrant dish.
  • 2 cups cooked rice Day-old rice works best.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Low-sodium soy sauce can be used to reduce salt.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For sautéing the beef.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Enhances flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Enhances aroma.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • optional Chopped green onions for garnish Adds freshness.

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the beef strips and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Add the sliced bell peppers and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they soften.
  4. Stir in the cooked rice, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
  5. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  6. Serve hot and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

Cool the bowl to room temperature before storing in an airtight container. It can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat before serving.
