  • 1 pound chicken tenders Fresh or thawed chicken tenders
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon Juice of 1 lemon Freshly squeezed for best flavor
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference
For serving
  • 1 serving Tzatziki sauce For dipping

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the chicken tenders to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the grill or oven to medium heat.
  2. Cook the chicken tenders for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
Serving
  1. Serve hot with tzatziki sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

Pat chicken dry before marinating to ensure the marinade sticks better. For more flavor, marinate for 2–4 hours. Let cooked tenders rest 2–3 minutes before serving to keep them juicy. Suggested serving with pita bread, green salad, rice, or roasted vegetables.
