Ingredients
  

For the Stir-Fry
  • 1 pound beef (sliced thinly) Make sure to slice against the grain for tenderness.
  • 2 cups snow peas Fresh or thawed frozen snow peas can be used.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Use tamari for a gluten-free option.
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce Hoisin sauce can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil For cooking.
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Marinate the Beef
  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
Cook the Stir-Fry
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for about 30 seconds until aromatic.
  3. Add the marinated beef to the skillet, cooking until browned and cooked through, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the snow peas and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve
  1. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

Beef with snow peas can be garnished with sesame seeds or chopped green onions. Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat gently in a skillet.
