Ingredients
  

For the Beef Marinade
  • 1 pound beef (sliced thinly) Make sure to slice against the grain for tenderness.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Can substitute with tamari for gluten-free.
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce Or use hoisin sauce as a substitute.
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch To help tenderize the meat.
For the Stir-Fry
  • 2 cups snow peas Fresh or thawed if using frozen.
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil For stir-frying.
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for about 30 seconds until aromatic.
  3. Add the marinated beef to the skillet, cooking until the beef is browned and cooked through, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the snow peas and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

This dish is best served hot over rice or noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if desired. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
