Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the mashed bananas with brown sugar and softened butter until well combined.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- Allow to cool before serving and enjoy your delicious banana chocolate chip cookies!
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. For longer storage, freeze in a freezer-safe bag or container for about three months. Consider adding nuts for a nuttier taste.
