Preparation
- In a bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, honey, salt, pepper, and oregano to create the marinade.
- Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
Cooking
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
To enhance flavor, marinate the chicken for up to 4 hours. Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is properly cooked. Experiment with different herbs and spices.
