Ingredients
  

Shrimp and Marinade
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Use fresh garlic for stronger flavor
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated Can be swapped for pecorino or cheddar
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish
  • Chopped parsley (optional) For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss until well coated.
Cooking
  1. Lay the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  2. Air fry for 6–8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway, until the shrimp are cooked and golden.
  3. Remove from the air fryer and sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Dry shrimp well before tossing to ensure they crisp better. Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if needed. Use a squeeze of lemon to brighten the dish.
